The following traces are from 51 cross country
flights in my ASG29 during 2020,
totaling 18176 miles (29,251 km)
and 297 hours, averaging 357 miles (574km) per
cross country flight, at an average speed of 62 mph. The flights
spanned most of California, Nevada and Utah, including crossing over to
Oregon, Idaho, Colorado and Arizona. During those trips I
visited 12 airports (planned and unplanned), one farm field and a golf course..
Highlights from the year:
- 4th place in the OLC-USA Champion category
- 2nd place in the OLC-USA All Flights category
- Had 10 flights over 1000km, the most I ever done in one season, including a 1000k Out and Return from Tonopah to Idaho
- Had my longest out and return north from Hollister over 400 miles
- Unusual scenic flight to Bodega Bay and over the Pacific.
