The map below shows traces from 56 cross country
flights in my ASW27 and ASG29,
totaling 20,115 miles (32,187 km)
and 339 hours, averaging 359 miles (575km) per
cross country flight, at an average speed of 59 mph. The flights
spanned most of California and Nevada, including visits to
Utah, Oregon,Idaho and Montana. During those trips I
visited 11 airports.
Highlights from the year:
- 2nd place in the OLC-USA all flights category
- 3rd place in the OLC-USA Champion category
- 8th place in the OLC-USA speed category
- Had 5 flights over 1000km (3 from Tonopah, 2 from Ely)
- Replaced my ASW27 with a new (to me) ASG 29-18m
